Nicely modified 'Sierra Cosworth powered' Capri:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2482138.htm - Needs a little work doing to it...
As much as I like the wheels (pictured above), I'm just not sure if they suit the Capri. However, if it was my project, I'd be wacking on a set of Minilites in an instant

i have genuinely astonished respect for the guys that do this type of thing, not just for the effort and the attention to detail, but for the sheer preparedness to plough serious $$$ into a project like this. Just out of interest, how much might it be... ballpark? £100k?Another BMW in engine where it has no right to be:

If they had £100k to spend I doubt they'd be using sections of tree trunk as axle stands.A lex said:
Interesting how the original cars are on UK plates - probably 'lost' off some poor gits drive in the UK.
The Z3 registration A20 NAX is a Mercedes CLS 500 according to https://www.mycarcheck.com/check/A20NAX/ . Hmmm...irodger said:

Any idea of the engine spec's?
Decat
Kakimoto Backbox
Blitz air filter
Greddy compression elbow
Apexi ECU.
Car makes 318bhp (flywheel) at 0.8bar, with plenty of margin left in the stock fuel system. Having been stung by rotaries that have not been properly modified/maintained in the past I'm not taking chances with this one
