Are you being sarcastic there? It's hard to tell without smilies.

If you are, those wheels look like Rays CE28N forged alloys, which are one of THE lightest wheels available and cost north of £2.5k

I was, and I now feel a bit silly to be honest. I don't claim to be a wheel expert of any kind.

Still, I think if I'd spent £2.5k on some wheels I'd rather they didn't look like multifit tat.

The wheels are pretty boring to be fair, I don't think they even suit the car either.

I have a similar set of rays, and they look anything but multi-fit in the flesh. The secondary set of holes are there to reduce weight and are drilled straight through rather than having a 'seat' half way down the hole.

I think the size of the wing and wheels are OTT, like it otherwise though.

You seem to have put this in the wrong thread. Badly modified cars thread is where this belongs.
WOW That's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny laugh You must have an enormous penis to write such witticisms

rolleyes

And all this from a boy student with a (paid for by Mummy) Mini in his profile who lists "his" website as DetailingWorld. I bet he's there right now bashing one out over a microfibre or some expensive dodo wk.

Personally I think that Passat looks vile - it's like someone took what is otherwise a great car and decided to make it look like a chavvy little rude-boy wagon.

The debadging works quite well and it looks ok lowered but the wheels just look nasty IMHO and it doesn't do anything for me; it's like seeing a granny with a fake pair of breasts, sure they look perky and on their own they look great but when you look at the whole thing it just looks genuinely saddening. The gyst of my argument is that this car is like a geriatric pension-wrangling granny with fake breasts - Sort of convoluted but there you go.

Yes, I drive an MX-5 that I bought myself, with my own moneys earned by doing work - before you stalk my profile like some desperate bush-dwelling sex-offender, to launch another attack against someone who dares to criticise the all-mighty Passat.

If you're going to have a hybrid, you might as well have one that looks like it would punch you in the face at any opportunity.

Wow. You got all offended on behalf of someone else. Quick get out on the streets and defend some minority groups that aren't offended laugh No one cares about MX5 owners either. They're like Electric car owners. Far too smug for their own good wink

More importantly. You expressed your opinion without resorting to tired, stale, retarded attempts at humour that we've seen a million times before. You can like or dislike any car for any reason (note to others: helps your cause if you justify WHY though) but to just say "oooh it's in the wrong thread chortle" will leave you open to the piss being extracted. hehe

For what it's worth I think the Passat in question is neither decently nor badly modifed. I've seen better and I've seen worse. Bodykit isn't too bad, not sure on the DRLs. Wheels aren't suited. Debadging works.

I sold it. But in the interests of decently modified. Here's my last car.

"So Halfords with that flared bodykit and left hand drive conversion."

followed by the inevitable rolleyes

"my mate had one of them 2.5 straight 6 turbo engine, came from the factory like that but without the big arches and spoilers"

Bit hard to do that when it's collapsed and died and it's 4 prolapsed anus' are slowly crapping a blooded wheel each.
