If you're going to have a hybrid, you might as well have one that looks like it would punch you in the face at any opportunity.
Bit hard to do that when it's collapsed and died and it's 4 prolapsed anus' are slowly crapping a blooded wheel each.Collapsed suspension FTW.

Just spent about 4-5hrs reading through the build thread of this Kaiser, it's an epic.. Took Keith the builder 6 years to transform it (a tad more than just a 'bit of tinkering' ), and it's the first car he's ever done... MrBrightSi said:
change the wheel colour or add borbet A's without stupid stretched tyres on, add another inch of height and you sir have a pretty corrado.
Having done extensive work setting up coilovers on my Corrado I can confirm that you can really adversely affect the handling by having them too low. You can get some really horrid handling traits and they much prefer to ride higher for handling. Rich_W said:

So it isn't in your profile because you are scared of strawmen?followed by the inevitable

Multifitment alloys. Niiice. If you are, those wheels look like Rays CE28N forged alloys, which are one of THE lightest wheels available and cost north of £2.5k
Still, I think if I'd spent £2.5k on some wheels I'd rather they didn't look like multifit tat.
Pera, you're missing the point they're not bought on looks, they're typically bought becuase they quite a few kgs lighter than most other wheels. Reducing unsprung mass on a car has a big effect on handling, e.g. dampers are able to react quicker, which equates to better traction and grip.
It depends on your definition of decently modified I guess, i.e. designed to go well or designed to look pretty? The two seldom cross over.

I did buy them for their weight and fitment, with tyres and alloy nuts they were ~£4k
But with the correctly set up Nitron suspension (~£2k) it was a dream to drive (unlike a lot of lowered S2000's )
The S2000 is one of the hardest cars to get light wheels and good fitments.
Ironically alot of the "multifiment" wheels are copies of the Rays/Volks design but cast (heavier) rather than forged
Most the mods on that car where bought for function first and form second (Mugen exhaust & header, Comptech supercharger)
I bought a host of other stuff that didn't "work" and got rid of them (Cobra CF seats, Amuse bumper, 5 other sets of alloys )
Ironically my current car only has one mod on it

Are they CE28s then?I did buy them for their weight and fitment, with tyres and alloy nuts they were ~£4k

Man after my own heart.

They are Man after my own heart.
One of the few wheels (in the right offset & width ) that will fit the staggered fitment of the S2000 with out any rubbing.
I wasn't too keen on the look but lived with it for the sake of the handling.
I prefer the Look of the LM's on hte "slammed" one but they are ALOT heavier and not such a good fitment.

I couldn't care if it was dancing the flamenco, those wheels and bumper make it look fking awful and completely ruins the lines of the car. The rear wing I don't mind so much as a functional device and style statement. But really those front bumpers that stick out about 8 feet either side of the car are a complete joke.
Id' be like an otherwise attractive women with, but with 6" long nipples and clowns feet.
You really can't just accept another persons opinion can you?Id' be like an otherwise attractive women with, but with 6" long nipples and clowns feet.

I am heading in that direction, I plan to put the original speedlines back on and raise the ride height a bit, so it looks something like this.....http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3546236.htm
