Hi,
Not sure you guys will like this one, as it is a bit over the top, but certainly seems to have the pace/sound to match its looks.
Not sure on spec as i never actually got the chance to talk to the owner. I saw it parked outside the Pistenklause hotel at the Nurburgring, & once heading down the road past the petrol station there..

I liked it, just due to the presence of the thing!

It's brilliant. It looks classically old, but if they built one like that now it would sell like hotcakes too.

I'm not sure, as i can't remember too well at the moment, but i believe that had an external wastegate just poking out of the O/S vent on the bonnet.
Certainly sounded good.
Although my favourite car i saw on my trip to the 'Ring was this;

Standard (ish) looking bar the graphics & cage, but the extremely friendly guy driving it used it in a pre '93 or similar race series.
Cut slicks, approx 300bhp if i recall correctly. My Subaru was a lot quicker on the straights but i stayed behind as it was mental in the corners, the guy could drive & clearly knew the track (That pic was the GP circuit).
Just nice to see it being used properly smile

Take it you've seen the RingToy on here? Now that's a beast of an E30.

If someone were to describe that Audi to me, I would probably be horrified.
Looking at it though. I just want a shot.

Just spotted this on a bike forum. I can't imagine it will appeal to most, but I love it!

Remarkable what some posters are willing to argue about.

To my mind, BIG power in a small car doesn't necessarily make a decently modified car. The key to that 500 will be not making it look TOO far from standard. smile

I like that.

I drove past a properly sorted Arbarth last year down in Wiltshire (think that's where it was anyway)
