Hi,
Not sure you guys will like this one, as it is a bit over the top, but certainly seems to have the pace/sound to match its looks.
Not sure on spec as i never actually got the chance to talk to the owner. I saw it parked outside the Pistenklause hotel at the Nurburgring, & once heading down the road past the petrol station there..

Wow, that's a thing of beauty
Spare wheel mounting on the passenger seat isn't ideal ! haha
Looks how I'd imagine an 80's Audi DTM car to look, just with modernised headlamps to incorporate Halogens into the indicator
V nice indeed and great spot

Really? The person has bought a Zonda and given what is ultimately a daft car a daft paint job.
It is a bit of fun that is easy to revert to standard. Hardly a reason to brand the guy a tosser.

Why, what do you have on your Zonda?

I really like it, and I'm not a great Batman fan. boxedin It's just about mental enough to compliment the Zonda nicely imo.

They look like fun -

I'm not generally an American muscle car fan but that looks fantastic. I rather like the offroad modified road car look, which always reminds me a bit of this.

Ok, I'll concede that branding whoever a 'tosser' is a bit strong and I apologise for that
However, a zonda is an engineering masterpiece, so drawing batman saying 'boo' on the front of it is, IMHO, the action of either a child or someone of very questionable taste

The latter I reckon. Mind you, I think Zonda interiors look just as tacky.

What do you think of the BMW art cars, which are in a similar vein?

Now, I'd question that they're in 'similar vein' at all
BMW art cars are driven by a marketing dept who typically commission famous contemporary artist or fashion designers to produce a museum peice that attracts attention to the brand. Arguably, the series of BMW art cars have achieved a somewhat 'cult' status and this means that everyone created generates far more value in column inches than you could ever hope to achieve through advertising on the same budget

The Batman painted Zonda, from what I read when it appeared at first at the huaryrayayaya launch and gathering of other zonda owners was a car belonging to an individual owner (whether is was Horacio's son, I don't know)

Personally, I think it looks awful and is genuinely tasteless, but the beauty of the free world we live in means if you've got the money and the intention to do it, fill your boots
It's just not for, and no matter how many difference perspectives I take, I can't find anything I like about it

They're similar in that way but in a smaller way, IMO.

Agreed, I'm more in favour than yourself though, it's not a breakthrough or anything but I approve of diversity.

mm, not sure. would need to see more pics. the modern tyres and air ride seem at cross purposes.
I think that's what makes it work, the other one on period wheels and tyres just seems....'been there, done that'
Agree.

Feck me, you're a tediously pedantic c**t aren't you?
erm not really. I asked why an SBC (insert Chevy V8, LS1, Corvette engine or whatever the fk you want to call it really), the poster failed to answer, only replying that it's not an SBC.

In truth I couldn't really care about the semantics on the naming, I was just interested in why that engine and not a BMW V8? smile

yes

Remarkable what some posters are willing to argue about.
Please see comment above, it was about a different question.

Am I the only one who thinks they've ruined that? - The Group B version is done far better, At least the body add-ons look like they are meant to be there
