Adz The Rat said: Just incredible that Audi wasnt it?
All built by the owner, I think the only thing he didnt do was the paint.
Won best engine and best other Audi yesterday on its first outing.
There is huge build thread for it if anyone is interested? You may have to be a member of E38 to see it though.
Big Dub, did you enjoy the show? The lighting was awful in that new hall, I struggled with my photos. Mine will be up later tonight. pop up the link

mmm a masterpiece of daft engineering. Exactly how far did Audi think they could put the engine in front of the front axle? I bet it handles like a dog...

Just found a few more: Speedhunters said: Hey Speedhunters! Love the site, been sifting through for a few years now, love how it effortlessly moves through such a variety of cars and related culture, from traditional rodding to flushed out drifters. This is my '73 Plymouth 'Cuda, my first car, a long term project, and my introduction to working on cars. I drive it as often as i can, including 1500+ mile road trips through some of the most remote and beautiful parts of New Zealand. It's currently a 4-speed small block, but i plan to put a 440 in it this year, and when I do it'll look like the image below, an homage to the factory Mopar drag cars from the late '60s. The long term goal is to build it into a street driven race car, with 440ci small block, 6 pack EFI, 4-speed, GV overdrive, stock-style but fully updated suspension, full bare-carbon front end, and custom body work. Here's an image - Wow. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project!.

Should we have a thread for properly modified cars and leave this to the scene kids? Would be a great shame but seeing as they want to post up whatever they have just seen on speedhunters and the like it might be the only answer. Or how about we have a separate thread for all those sorts of cars? Other than the badly modified cars thread that is There's clearly a distinction so can we have our thread back please?
