Nice X1/9, rear off set is about five mill too wide for me, but love the rest. Any idea's on what the engine is?

Take one standard Vauxhall Ventora  Modify it to within an inch of its life..   Then take a mould of the body, build a chromoly chassis and stick about 3200hp in it.. muuhahahahahaaaaa Oh, and it'll be red..
