Buying a memory card tomorrow....

It didn't come with one banghead
Doh!

What camera did you get?
Sony X200, i really have no idea if it's any good or not, "good for a beginner" i was told.

So yea, I'm getting confused with all of the buttons already paperbag

Still, will have a blast around tomorrow, see if i can see anything any good.
Sony X200? Iv googled it, doesnt seem to be anything there. What is it? A digicam or DSLR? Just put it on 'Auto' mode for a bit untill you get used to it.

Rember, when shooting cars, go for a low down picture, about the same hight as the head lights, get all the car in the picture and you cant go wrong!
Can we get back on tracks guys, cheers PR.

Well to all the thread posters, but especially Tigerkoi, Kurt, steady, purely, and all the other 'Twisted Threadstarters', i'd like to wish a very Happy Xmas and a spiffing New Year.

Here's hoping that the economic downturn doesn't affect the london spots next year, and may we all have a good 2009, filled with new car spots, lots of 99RON, and some tyre smoke in our lungs.

Beef
Nor do i. Im looking forward to London again in the summer, lets hope the arabs and the rest of the 'ballers' arnt too botherd about the credit crunch. Also, possibly heading off to Monaco again in the summer, we'l see...

But yes, hope you all had a great christmas, and a happy new year.

Tigerkoi's still on 1000posts.... none for a few days now...

I'm worried.

I reckon that's it.

He's doing a John Sargeant, and getting out at the top of his game....

Much appreciated Beef, and the same to you thumbup

In terms of the affecting the car spotting, I think I'll be least effected but today didn't bring up any trumps for me apart from two possible leads.

If I were you I would check these cars out before posting them, this is just a Ford Mondeo 24v. Glad to see you like taking part but as stated please do some research first before just shoving it onto the thread.

A good find here but appears to be a Ford Capri 2.0 or Laser with a early X Pack bodykit.

that's fair enough. i did do a bit of research but it didn't say anything about it being rs. thought it might of been something more then it was, removed. no need to get snide about it all.

Hardly a fair comment? Have you seen the picture? And what do you mean us two never get along? I've not got a sodding clue who he is.

That looks like a generic "XX Pack" body kit.

This is a Tickford Capri:

crikey this has gone a bit crazy lol. ive never really liked fords hence the reason i dont know much about them but i think to save bickering in the future il pick a haynes manual lol but in all fairness i did say "Ford Mondeo, noticed the rs badge on the back. thought it might be a real one/something valuable to the thread" so i kind of did give the indication i didnt think it was that decent.

I'm doing my best to take over where Tigerkoi left of, I'm not trying to be him but doing what's best for the situation.

I hope we can leave it at that and get back to what the thread is intended for.

Not bad thanks. biggrin

Lambo chap, I honestly thought you were joking, I didn't mean any offence but it's obvious from the lights and the exhausts that it's a chav mobile, glaringly obvious.

As for not liking Fords, I know this is cheating but do you really not like all of them:

We don't need anyone to take over, we just need spots of gorgeous and rare cars with a few lines written about eachone and then discussion, no one needs to "take over".
