I should imagine it's due to your cars, there isn't much that an enzo, a phantom or a mcmerc slr won't trump when it comes to showing off! wink

sadly i suspect that Jay Leno kinda wins this one ....

and thats just the bikes!!
sadly Leno doesnt post on PH much,

there is a fella on here, cant remember his name, but his list of Cars is endless, F40s Massas's etc, and has a pic of each on his profile of a garage that looks like it holds 8 cars no probs,

then theres Tbops, which ruins every thread in similar vein!
Im having a thick moment, why do i ruin it?
No he means ruin it in a good way. Now please can I have one of your cars pleaseeee hehe

I think he is trying to politely say that the cars you have access to are hard to beat. Mind you this thread is not about the contents of a garage but instead the garage itself!

How are you anyway TJ? smile

Here's mine. It won't win any prizes and is still full of crap from when we moved in but I am hoping to tidy it up before the end of the summer.biglaugh

My mini hydraulic ramp.
With a car like that your garage should be a shrine. I can see it now, chequer board floors, white walls, racings pics on the walls and an old 40's or 50's petrol pump in the corner.
Definately want to sort the floor out. Have some cool pics and signs for the wall but haven't found a petrol pump yet. Will post pics as soon as it is more presentable.

this is quite 'inspiring'... maybe if/when i get settled nr MK i might have to see if any of the chaps on here want to look at doing something this.. (Podie??!!). i'd like to get a couple of cheapo classics whilst they're still legal - 2002, mk1 mx5, maybe an mgb gt (it always surprises me how cheap these things are) etc etc...
I know of a Warehouse available cheap in Wolverton area.
That sounds interesting. What sort of price, security, size, etc on the warehouse?

Cheers

I'm guessing mine might be the whitest, although it's nothing like this tidy any more;

I can't even fit a car in it at the moment, probably breaking some cardinal rule of PH....

from memory (awooga awooga stalker alert) you said ages ago your garage was at the back. seeing as you (awooga awooga stalker alert) have a georgian townhouse does that mean you pretty much mean you front the road? and so this contraption will go in the 'backyard'?
We're on a corner, so the garage is down the sideroad.

Yes (£60k all in), but the brick garage it will replace would not be cheap to rebuild (it is too small, badly positioned and not structurally safe.

mad Why do people insist on requoting and reposting the same pictures over and over and over again? It ruins the threads and you end up with dozens of posts of the same f**king picture.

Here's mine, with its new cheese coloured paint biggrin

Notice the pretty diamond pattern in the block paving. It was going to be a simple version of the classic 'V8' logo:

Indeed, simply replacing the [url] tags with [thumb] is much more polite.

Top garages BTW. I'm feeling garage envy now with my draughty non powered in a block garage.

We haven't bought a new house yet - we're still on the market with ours although it's not the best time to try and sell! We already live pretty close to MK so would happily consider some kind of arrangement like the above.

So you're still looking as well? What sort of area are you looking in?

Hi both,

It is in the Wolverton Mill Industrial area where Motorserv etc all is.

It's a big building and two storey and was last used for building storage. I am going to see the owner Sunday so will report back with cost's etc.

avid reader of his books, and when you read the books and he describes the car, then you find he actually owns that car and can see. just works for me, guy has a 38 bugatti, and dusenbergs
Is it sad that I can recognise most of the cars there from the various novels that Cussler wrote them into?
