That's a great setup - nice job. But listen man, I can see a DUSTPAN hanging on the wall in the background. I mean for goodness sake. Get rid of that now and hang a large wrench or a can of grease! wink
They do exist, just tidied away - its my OCD I'm afraid!!!

That said, I've not worked on either of those - only on my Defender, which is frankly what I'm learning on basically.

Haha. Spring compressors if I remember correctly. RichB is right though - enough of this waffle, let's see your garages smile

After seeing the best-of post on the previous page, I've only just realised how embarrassing it should be to have a bedhead against one wall and a bin full of tiles...

Here's one prior to the bedhead ending up in there and the bikes being put on the wall...

The conversation about single vs. double doors has made me appreciate the double.

Due to having a few cars, last year I looked into buying extra remotes. The genuine models cost about $30 on eBay and a bit more from key cutters. But the search results picked up a gent around the corner selling a second-hand door motor and chain, complete with two remotes plus a wall-mounted controller.

I was lucky to have the successful bid at $27, retuned the remotes and have been wondering what to do with the unit ever since...

And to continue the conversation about single vs. double doors...double is great but a couple of singles would force my soon-to-be-wife to park a reasonable distance from the halfway point...

Now that's a nice man cave. Those are NewAge Professional cabinets on the back wall I think.

Thank you. Indeed - very pleased with them. Best price was from Costco at the time. (Other retailers are available)

I've just done some Googling and it looks like the other retailer Garage Pride have them on offer at the moment!

Nice boats and bikes. Proper lifestyle garage.
Just need some cross country skiis and maybe a snowmobile too.

Skis would be a possibility. Snowmobile stretching it given the remaining space and fact I live in Melbourne.

Should be up to wall plate by the end of Tuesday, it's certainly spacious! 5m X 11m with a flooring to ceiling height of 3m which will allow a car lift. There will be a full size fold down staircase with a decent sized mezzanine floor.

It's massive! haha

Got more photos? Looks like quite on odd location?

Muncher, if you change your mind you can always drop a liner in it and have a rather epic swimming pool.

Just love my garage. Use to have lots of exotics but alas they were all given away to cousins. frown

Fortunately no planning permission required.

Is there a reasonably priced way of getting white and black garage floor tiling? I love the look, but as the garage doesn't technically belong to me I'm not about to start piling heaps of money into it.

We used to have a lovely garage at the old place, complete with glass folding doors to make it look like a showroom. But then we moved... <sniff>

Love that!
That is very cool

Han Solo in carbonite on the wall? Brilliant.
