Ha ha this thread should be renamed "garages of single men / recent divorces or widowers"
If you aren't already you will be if you want a garage like this....
Or the alternate thread of how much did your wife / girlfriend's horse box, horse or horses cost to run !! If you aren't already you will be if you want a garage like this....
Trust me my garage including the 6 cars have cost a load less than the horses, ponies and box !

Makes a rarely used classic a bargain..

Is there a reasonably priced way of getting white and black garage floor tiling? I love the look, but as the garage doesn't technically belong to me I'm not about to start piling heaps of money into it.
They may not fit into the reasonable price description, but plastic floor tiles, mototile/ecotile etc are just laid loose, so can be easily lifted and moved on to another garage.Storer said:
Park up a car and it needs no fuel or maintenance. Park up a horse and the bill still keep coming. And 'she who must be obeyed' still needs a car 'to get about'. Horse pee is the most corrosive substance known to man, so any horsebox rots at a phenomenal rate.
Makes a rarely used classic a bargain..
Having spent a couple of years working on horse boxes, I can testify to just how much of a state they're in underneath!Makes a rarely used classic a bargain..
This is on the cards .... "apparently" if I buy another car !!!!

Got rid of the ex a few months back, i can assure you im still as far away from such a garage as i was a year ago..If you aren't already you will be if you want a garage like this....
As in, i do have a garage, but no money to a put a car in, and on top of it, ill probably end up having to sell the house anyway
Moving to a house with a garage in September. Not anything like on here but I'm excited. Finally somewhere to tinker out of the rain! Might post a picture when we get it.
By the way, some of these garages really are the stuff of dreams. I remember when I was younger (2002ish) going to England on holiday and somewhere between Bristol and Shaftesbury passed a huge mansion with 4/5 Ferraris on the drive. I'm pretty sure one was an F40 but I can't remember. Is that anyone on here? (I know that could be a huge area)

And the ladies think cars are expensive to run!!!

What makes it worse is it we had a younger model 2 years ago !! Don't ask !!
And that's before you start with the cost of ponies / horses !! Can be equally as much as the box again .... Then there are the running costs of said ponies .........
Seriously any supercar is cheap !!

I rode at **** level for many years and ran a string of horses to achieve that aim, you don't need to tell me about the costs involved...
you forgot'buying a bigger house with land...' in your costs, although you could easily look past that because of retained equity, but you've got to find the money in the first place!
We've got full time grooms for the wife's horses, as well as capex like horse walkers and menages etc..
