I have the height already considered and planned in!

Having looked a bit I'm thinking that a recessed scissor lift is the way forward.

This... http://www.dunlopge.co.uk/dsl3_high_rise_scissor_l...

When down it just sits flush without having the obstructions of the posts in a 2 post lift.

Since I'm working from scratch it's dead easy to put the recesses in the slab and seems like the best solution.

Thoughts??
The only think with that is you don't have room to store another car under it should you wish and working space I imagine is a bit restricted under it, could you drop a larger engine out underneath with that? Also on my VX there are only 2 lifting points on the cills, most are on the insides.
I think they allow full access? This is the question I'm hoping to clearup! Any views?

I was liking the garage, then scrolled down to the man cave. Stunning, hard work has paid off.

Thanks for all the comments guys, really appreciate it... Yes the biometric was probably a step too far biggrin but it works surprisingly well actually and saves you having to fumble for keys - you can tell I like my gadgets!

This normally... the Beetle isn't quite exotic enough to match the garage, but I'll work on that wink
