Pah, that ain't a garage! This is a garage:
OK, not the best garage, but it is my garage. Spent a week in March taking off the leaky ste asbestos roof sheets and replacing it with a single span of box profile sheeting on z purlins. Managed to finish the cedar batten and board cladding this eve, and get the ridge flashing on.
Really happy with it so far. Long term plan is to knock the middle wall down and stick a big roller shutter door on, making it into a useful 6x5m workshop. But I think I'll tackle that next year. Need to get leccy out there for lighting before winter.
Nice work mate. That's a more representative enthusiast's garage. You should be pleased with yourself. Power will make a big difference. OK, not the best garage, but it is my garage. Mine is slowly coming along. I think the builder is running on half speed these days...
I can see that you need the wall on the left as a retaining wall but I'd get rid of the dwarf wall on the right. There's always a danger that when you stop there someone will open their car door into it. All you need to do is grade the slope at say 1 in 3 TA14 said:
