Is he called Tesco Terry because he bought a Tesco, threw out the crap, blinged it up and is now udsng it as a "garage"?

Thing is, if I did my garage like that it would look good unless I used it. As soon as I drove a car into it that had actually been on the road it would be covered with dirty tyre tracks, horse poo and straw.

Last time that was posted on here, I'm pretty sure it was said to belong to David Cooper.

Last time that was posted on here it was derided i) the idea of the thread is that it's a garage owned by the person posting it on Pistonheads ii) it's already been posted, and iii) it's actually just a storage floor full of bling and few pot plants from Homebase. laugh

That's lovely, a fellow Rallye enthusiast too. biggrin
Yeh, the main reason for buying the house was the garage... so I had somewhere to work on the Pug. By Christ does it seem to need it.

Reminds me of a car showroom. I like this thread for inspiration but that's about as inspiring as Ikea.

That's not a garage - this is a.....

Ok, it's not a garage either, or at least not my garage. It's 530 sq ft of rented accommodation which is the host for my car sales/repair business smile

Doesn't even compare to the worst garages here in its 100+ year old dusty state!!

Pah, that ain't a garage! This is a garage:

OK, not the best garage, but it is my garage. Spent a week in March taking off the leaky ste asbestos roof sheets and replacing it with a single span of box profile sheeting on z purlins. Managed to finish the cedar batten and board cladding this eve, and get the ridge flashing on.

Really happy with it so far. Long term plan is to knock the middle wall down and stick a big roller shutter door on, making it into a useful 6x5m workshop. But I think I'll tackle that next year. Need to get leccy out there for lighting before winter.

Nice work mate. That's a more representative enthusiast's garage. You should be pleased with yourself. Power will make a big difference. smile

Maybe I need a parrot but surely that's because it's a kiddy car?

I can see that you need the wall on the left as a retaining wall but I'd get rid of the dwarf wall on the right. There's always a danger that when you stop there someone will open their car door into it. All you need to do is grade the slope at say 1 in 3 smile

Edit to say the stonework looks great.

er, is it?

oh fk.
We bought a kiddy's car for one of our children and also found it to be significantly smaller than a real one. Odd, but there you go.
