In a totally non chav way, i have always had a liking for the 206 GTI 180, never driven a 180 but had a go in a normal GTI.

Its a nice car, probably a better ownership proposition than a shagged ot 1.9 205.

Cue the dhead OP saying it needs massive wheels and some dodgy bodykit.....

I test drove a Peugeot 180 before buying a 182 but it didn't seem much better performance than my 206 GTi. Could've been the specific car I was driving though because it had been on the forecourt about 7 months without being moved.

Well i fell in love with mine. Good enough handling and fast enough to lose my license far too easily

Sorry old boy I was just pulling your leg! TBH I actually prefer the look of the standard GTi, I find the car to look 'overwheeled' but I can see why you chose it extra power better brakes, no contest thumbup

I must admit the 206s have a far better interior - equipment and build quality - than the 182 and the seats are way more comfy (they even took the climate control out of the Cup to save weight so it steams up a lot when it rains!)

The seats do rock, i've been really pleased with it since i got it, although sometimes i do think it could have been a bit more focused. Will probably keep it another year or two, then move on, wouldn't mind to try a 4wd jap car, but then who knows?

Well the OP has strong opinions on cars he's never driven. My money is on Twinners.

Yeah I must admit I thought of Rodney. Must have a look on CTF and see if he mentions it...

I'd missed this one first time around!!

Shame the OP is such a troll, otherwise I'd have invited him to come up against another 911 and see what happens hehe
