I remember when this came out there was a photo in Performance Car magazine (or had the name changed to EVO then - I can't remember) of the RS2 in mid-air, jumping over a bridge, or a lump in the road or something...(sorry, long time ago) - anyway, it was an awesome photo and I have loved this car so much ever since!
That'll be this one then. jeremyc said:

I owned an RS2 for 10 years till 2006, and regret I sold it.
Considered a 2003 E39 M5 as a replacement, but it simply does not have the magic and actually feels older than my 1995 RS2.
Also considered the B7 RS4 Avant as a replacement, and have not discounted it yet, but does not have the Charisma.

I remember my first ride in one...My cousin and I were off to drive a TVR Cerbra in some old film set somewhere, before their official launch... His friend came to pick us up. I instantly become curious of this estate car he had arrived in. I thought it was very nice in blue, with what looked like Porsche style wheels...
I noticed the leather inside and what also caught my eye were the white dials..I was totally unware of this model at the time..
It was not until we joined the M25 slip road, that he unleased the power.. It was simply quite unbelievable and totally unforgettable. He told us stories of overtaking many an exotic car during his ownership.. He loved the faces of M3 drivers, as he would steam passed them, all they would see is 2 year son strapped in a car seat looking back at them.. Probably the ultimate "wolf in sheeps clothing" family car...

Great article! I'm fortunate to have one of these cars, bought in Feb, and am after recomendations of where I can find an expert to look after it. I googled 'Quattro Sports' but that just comes up with a load of Audis for sale! Any ideas or experiences gratefully recieved!
They changed their name to QST a few years back (Audi took issue with them using the name "Quattro" You can find them here - http://www.qstuning.com/
Awesome cars. I still have yet to own one... Dont know why I havent looked into them really.
I remember when I used to Valet with a friend when I was a young un' and we had an RS2 come in.
I never really knew what it was but everyone seemed to talk about it and hype about how fast it was.
Then i got taken out in it. I really wasnt expecting its pace. The turbo is like a kick in the stomach! Proper old school boost and a pure adrenaline rush. A legend
