Just for sts and giggles can you tell us how much you expect people to pay to ruin a Boxster.

It looks more pony than the stables at Epsom downs. It is, in two words, visually offensive.

we are selling the kits and turnkey cars the kits will be available soon, the cost all depend on what donor you use as porsche boxters range from £8000 to £45000 so it is not that easy to price unless we know your budget,

will post more pics and let you know when website is up, thanks again.

Reminds me of the phrase "It says Hovis on the side of buses... but they don't sell bread!"

I think the market for this would be 18 year old daddys boy poser type or a semi successfull local drug dealer - Complete the look with dicount designer gear and Argos catalogue gold jewellery.

I cant see anyone else wanting one, the money I estimate this would cost to buy could be easily spent on somthing with serious pedigree.

I don't know if it's just this unflattering angle, or whether it also looks that "I've already been shunted up the rear and lost the lines I had" from other perspectives, but it's not my idea of sexy styling.

If you want to turn heads, just spend £1,000 on a Nova (kit-car that is).

Out of interest, what market are you aiming for with this?

ETA:

I must admit I'm not a great fan of the original in terms of styling (it's very good imho, but it's not perfect). However if I had the money for this type of car, styling would be way down on my list of priorities. Pedigree? Yes. Performance? Oh yes, etc, etc. I wouldn't give a rats rear end if the styling wasn't perfect in my eyes.

So, you do a replica, what have you got? Pedigree? Nope. Performance? Somewhat (but nothing like the real thing). Styling? It's a very subjective thing, there is no 'best'. Bearing in mind the original manufacturer probably spent a big wad finding the design that appeals to the maximum number of people, you have 2 choices. a) Build a replica as close to the original as possible, and hope enough folks like the styling that it's enough to sell on its own, or b) take a huge risk and don't make it accurate.

Hmmm. scratchchin

Not that it looks good now, but whats it going to look like in a year or two once the fibreglass panels and filler start to crack etc?
Never seen a bodykit look any good after a short while, speedbumps etc soon test how good the kit is, and afaik theres nothing around that lets you stick a flexible fibreglass panel to metal and fill without cracking.

Cant see there being many takers of this, seen a few of the Gt's close up, this is pretty much a lesson in how to chav a boxter.

It seems that the people on this forum(those that knock others) are so blinkered that they have there little tuned cars, with £5 body kits and bolt on chrome they cant see the workman ship involved in such a project, the paint probably cost more than most of above mentioned yet they put ther 2p in and think they are qualified to comment on such skills that it took to produce a car like this!!
we in fact have a full order book for these kits and 2 cars to be produced so we are not looking for customers we were looking for opions from other like minded people who might appreciate hard work and a challenge,
And for those who say we are on the wrong forum grow up and open your minds to others, its people like you that talk the talk but never walk the walk lets see the pictures of your cars on here,
i appreciate the nissans, fast fords, peugots, fantastic paint work lambo doors, destinctive body work etc etc, i dont go on there threads and go well i dont think thats cool, because i know what hard work has gone into these builds,
and as for the english teachers out there sorry for my poor english grammar i thought this was a forum for fast cars and people who enjoy looking at cars that people have there heart and sole in and well earned money.
please carry on to comment i am not going any where and if any body would like to see the car in the flesh than please come on down.
and to qoute
i am out (but not down)

Not my cup of tea really.. however if it 'is' someones thing the workmanship does seem up to scratch and seems to be done properly as opposed to many modern day replicas.

If you've got people buying the kits then you're the one laughing all the way to the bank at the end of the day. smile

I'll give you an honest opinion.

Your cars look st, along with any other MR2/boxter based replica. Your an idiot for thinking it looks cool and that poeple are amazed at your would be wealth, anyone can tell it isn't real and when I see someone in a car like yours I am not thinking wow, my primary thought is "What a poor freindless wker"

Your order books maybe full, but this proves a well spoken point. The general public are idiots, ergo your customers are idiots, QED your products are st.

Untill you stop driving around in that heap and stop pretending to yourself and others that you are a rich and smart man you will continue to be labelled an idiot.

Okay- this is a website for car enthusiasts of all tastes, shapes and sizes, and we all have differeing opinions on everything. BUT, and I think any sane person would agree that it looks st, it would be better to just have a normal Boxster, and that painting it bright orange doesn't do it any favours. Lose the wheels.

Oh, and do Porsche know that you're producing these??

How many people would pay to do this?

I think it's a cheap way of doing up a crashed car... I wonder what percentage are done for that reason?

The guy asked for an opinion of the car. Whilst you are entitled to insult/praise the car, it doesn't give you the right to call the man an idiot.

I wish I was in the position to be 'stupid' enough to have people come and buy an expensive product that apparently on-one likes.
