For no other reason, other than the fact it is Friday, I present F1 car porn. Lap it up guys. First off the road cars:

Excellent, just waht I needed on a Friday.

The light greeny metallic one (with yellow Ferrari behind it) really suits that colour.

What always amazes me is for a car that had such a short run how many different variations there were.

Nice one. Have to say that the Mac F1 is still as jaw dropping today as it was when it was first released.

Technical brilliance.

Absolutely stunning.
Taken from wikipedia, so i blindly accept it as the truth.... "Today, it is still the fastest naturally aspirated car in the world."

Is there such a thing as a Standard F1?

Stunning.

I will never forget my dad taking me into the showroom on Park Lane to see the one in there when I was about 13. Partly for the stunning metal form shimmering under the showroom lights, and partly for the moment Tracy from Essex, who'd followed us in, fell over the back of the sofa in there.

The look on the saleswoman's face...

A fair few haven't been enhanced by Mclaren. Alot of 'new' owners who buy the car from someone else wish to change the cars appearance to suit their tastes. Be it a small upgrade to the air con or seating fabric, or others have gone all out and added audio/visual upgrades, changed the paint, changed the interior, added the HDF kit (in various stages), changed the wheels, one has even gone so far as fettle with the brakes, suspension and handling!! wink

I would change it to suit me if I ever bought one.

They so rarely come on the market, and most of those that do are Magnesium Silver which is not to everyones taste, and to stand out from the 'norm' out come the paint swatches to become more personal to the new owner
