How anybody can prefer a Veyron to such a sublime work of art defies belief.
Thats the first time I've seen that picture but you are right, it is a work of art.

Flemke, IMHO this the right colour wink

It must be weird though driving a car from the middle.
Very strange I can assure you! I put my name down when they were launched and they would only let me onto the stand at the NEC on production of my FOC membership card. After a visit to the factory I didn't buy one but still have the brochure and the Xmas card with the lovely F1 enamel badge here. I'll look them out and photograph and post them for you all.

In fact not, quite natural. Though judging proximity to curbs/barriers on either side is a bit nerve-racking.

Next to the F1, the Enzo reminds me of that grotesque Weber supercar concept thing.

Love the 'stormtrooper's helmet' look of the F1 in white with black wheels too.

Hi there, really fantastic posting.
I particularly enjoyed the interior shots - very rarely seen. I love picture threads like this. You can spend hours trawling the interweb and it's standard library shot one after another. But here, there's far more detail.

Thank you. Brilliant!

Are there more of this car/photographer? Are they buried in the Flemke threads?

A couple of questions.

1.) Was there a set selection of colours available for MacF1 buyers, or could any colour be chosen?

2.) I heard that Louis Hamilton has been gifted a MacF1 as a bonus for winning the F1 championship. True?

Thanks.

I believe there is an LM F1 in the foyer at HQ, which Lewis jokingly said he wanted, Ron Dennis has said if he wins *three* championships, it's his.

Any colour could be chosen (heard of the Aubergine story re the F1?)

If only it was a working one - that is the Clinic Model, that had no engine in it! But yes, it looks great like that.

Even better, I wouldn't feel so bad about putting it on display at my world empire HQ.

(note to self, build world empire, create ott HQ with large foyer)

Basically [and loosely], one customer (legend has it it was George Harrison, but I'm unsure exactly) wanted a specific purple for his F1, so Mclaren Customer Care went out to find a perfect aubergine to replicate the colour. It took a while but once on the the customer loved it! smile
