This has probably been done to death on here but it interests me - I was thinking about "rare" special models of cars the other day and would be keen to see other people's inputs:

Mine Are:

Renault 11 Turbo Zender:

The Ford Capri Tickford Turbo:

The Vectra Super Touring:

The Wood and Picket Metro:

The Volvo 340 R-Sport:

The Alpina B9 (Based on an E28 5 Series):

And there was a Pink Floyd Golf and a Polo Harlequin (that fking thing still gives me nightmares, you try writing a parts system that has to cope with paint orders on a multicoloured fking car).

Thats hilarious! I'd love to have been in the meeting where they thought hmmm, Bon Jovi, yes, yes, I love it!

The did a Polo Genesis model too! The stodgy aging rock band suited the stodgy aging polo really well at the time!

As far as I can remember didn't VW sponsor each of the bands major world tours back in the 90's?
