Heh. what a great caption for a 4 door family saloon with a few go-faster bits strapped on smile
I'm sure they're a bit more than that...

Weren't they 300bhp+ once Rouse Sport had got their hands on them?

The in-law's one was certainly dyno'd at around 330bhp anyway.
didnt someone make a 2.4 litre engined saphire cossie? trying to remember the name but it escapes me at the moment.
I'm sure someone did a 2.1 conversion on the Audi 80 Quattro in the 80's and I can't think who that was either

In way was it better? I'd always assumed they were pretty much the same cars after the wheels, bumpers and spoiler. smile

..To be honest, I became aware of them because I spotted this one:

..And I dont mind it in that colour. Prefer black though, but then I prefer black for most things.

The Audi A4 DTM edition. Slower than an S4, handled less well than one too. Not a patch on an RS4

looked a bit better than the normal ones but still a cop out.

Why not?

He's been through it so many times before, it's up to him how he posts anyway.

To promote the brand right Phil?

Because he has a genuinely rare, rather cool car, and you dont?

Can't believe there's been no mention of the Austin/Morris Cooper and Cooper S (original one not the German one) or the Lotus-Cortina for what were the original tie-ins, along with the Shelby-Mustangs.
And then there's various Alpine-Renaults, Hurst Oldsmobiles, Yenko Chevy's, Saab Carlssons.

Oh and Senna and Halewood edition Ducati's anyone.... biggrin

Smart Roadster V6 Bi-Turbo Brabus

215bhp 1.4 V6 bi-turbo made from 2 Smart engines. They built 10, they weren't sold, they drive people around the test track sometimes. Hammond drove one on Top Gear.
