I'm surprised you can spec actual AMG wheels on a non-AMG engined Merc.

I stand corrected, still AMG badged
but....

AMG is now a spec, like the SLK AMG diesel and other cars so it is confusing for all.
and a further but, not on this model and it was never badged so. I don't think any of the "AMG Sport" models are badged with AMG apart from on the wheels?

You have been able to for 20 years now.

I can't remember it being an option when I got mine.

Seen a debadged RS5 the other day, wasn't 100% sure it wasn't a diesel with Big exhausts etc, until it started...

I like that idea, buy the fast one and then making it more discrete smile

There's an FF near me, I've seen it twice now, with BMW badges rear and front wings over side repeaters, it needs a double take, as it looks just like the old shape Z4...

hehe I like that style
My old man's old RS6+ was badged "1.8T"

I like that. He wanted to badge it as a TDi but was worried that my mother (who has previous on this sort of thing) would fill it up with diesel.

My new E Class is pretty much identical to a E220.

Silver E46 shape 330d in Aldershot today being driven like a tool, breaking speed limits, and smoking nicely every time the accelerator was pressed.

The whole package was completed nicely by the 2 x M badges that were stuck to the tailgate laugh Clearly 1 badge was not enough laugh

There is a black RR that traverses the M62 from Leeds towards Manchester badged up as an Overfinch. C11PBC or similar, doesn't even look like one.

There's an older RR round here which the owner has badged as an Overfinch using Halfords best stick-on letters. It ain't pretty.

This one is the last gen. At least put an Overfinch bodykit on and maybe some exhausts that point out the back not downwards.

It's a nice car that many of us would like to own, no need to make it something it isn't.

One locally, not managed to get a picture yet.

Front and nearside, badged as a Ford Fiesta, rear and offside, badged as a Mazda 121, quite clever really.

Is there any way, using visual clues, to figure out which it really is?

  • if* that's a genuine sport then the ///M badges are factory fit. My 325 sport saloon came with them.

My understanding was there were indeed E30 Motorsport cabriolets (which is different from the 325 Sports).

Only available in certain colours (with matching specific interior) and M Tech kit (and LSD).

I'm not sure whether it came with M badges (boot and grill) from the factory as per the 325 Sport.

Out for a potter in the M135i the other day, I spotted this. In fact I've spotted quite a few of these. There's always a small engined diesel driver proud to show off the fact that they have M Sport trim.
