Saw a red Rover 25 today

Sounded like it had a hole in the exhaust but it had a Nissan GTR badge on the back, and "skyline" along the lower boot edge in halfords lettering

Didn't get my phone out in time for a snap, but I'll keep my ears open for it in case it appears again

I'm thinking about putting a V8 or V12 badge on my new 1.0 litre shed. Partly for the comedy effect but mainly to pish off the hoity toity tutters on PH. biggrin

Was there ever an Astra VXS?

Quick Google shows a couple of results for the Mk5 (04-10) but I've seen a few times in my area a Mk6 (09-15) in what must be one of the lowest specs, with these semi-official looking VXS badges - I wondered if it was just something a dealer had stuck on?
I believe so. Pretty sure they're diesels.

That or they're vans.

I am certain not - may be a dealer 'special'. Per the comments about M-Sport and AMG-Line, the Vauxhall version is 'VX Line' which gets you a body kit and not much else - but they are not badged differently.

The only thing that comes up with Astra VXS is a van. I think they're making it up. Some people also sell "VXD" badges on ebay, for some unknowable reason.

I saw an insignia VXD last week, had small very cheap looking probably fake VXR wheels and a large exhaust. It looked as you'd expect, crap.

The VXS version is/was a van, which started with the Mk4 Astravan and later on the Vivaro, by our local dealer that no longer exists.

The specs.....

I spotted a Citroen C6 with Maserati badges!
hehe

I can only think the driver was reminiscing about his old SM.
