I'm thinking about putting a V8 or V12 badge on my new 1.0 litre shed. Partly for the comedy effect but mainly to pish off the hoity toity tutters on PH. biggrin
I DID take that sort of route putting a red 'R' badge on the boot & in the radiator intake of my Honda S2000. At Honda meets & some car shows had a chuckle as the irritated & annoyed strolled by huffing & puffing with indignation. They never knew I was laughing at them.

I removed it. Technically it's correctly badged as you pointed out.... So on reflection not a good fit for misbadged cars thread

Saw a BMW today with 335d badges on it.

Except it wasn't. The badges were all poorly spaced and the d wasn't straight. It had one exhaust and the worlds smallest alloys.

I saw a while new level of misbadging the other day - a previous generation Ford Mondeo, with the ford badge on the front grille replaced with the big chrome galloping horse motif from a Mustang. Christ knows who he thought he was fooling.....

There is nothing wrong with the 1.9 diesel badge, but the BMW badge is.

Most cars with AMG badges do at least have AMG wheels. The only thing AMG about this car is the badge as far as I could see.

Sadly no picture, but there was an E46 320d in Guildford town centre this afternoon that had been badged up as an //M, TypeR, Turbo, Supercharged, Hybrid, Cooper S Works, Limited Edition laugh
