misbadging cars

funnily enough it was actually a company called gillingham rover, they wre taken over by chalkeys in oct 03, but carried on as gillingham rover(dorset), i live near there, it was one of the last sales cars to leave the showroom, i remember it coming in on the transporter and the chrome trim down the body was just hanging of where the clips hadnt been fitted inside on the rear quarters, its a 260 se with the black chrome alloys, with black grey alcantara trim form memory and its a manual. the yguy was a solicitor i think,from london, he also drove a blue healey 3000.
he payed quite a bit for it, £33k seems to ring a bell.

ah leather i forgot, yes it was the only 260 ever sold from the showroom,we never had a demo to rich for the locals down here, funny thing was itook it out for a short test drive to make sure averything was ok, and i can remember s
