funnily enough it was actually a company called gillingham rover, they wre taken over by chalkeys in oct 03, but carried on as gillingham rover(dorset), i live near there, it was one of the last sales cars to leave the showroom, i remember it coming in on the transporter and the chrome trim down the body was just hanging of where the clips hadnt been fitted inside on the rear quarters, its a 260 se with the black chrome alloys, with black grey alcantara trim form memory and its a manual. the yguy was a solicitor i think, from london, he also drove a blue healey 3000.
he payed quite a bit for it, £33k seems to ring a bell.

All correct, or at least the bits that I know about. Black leather interior though. So it was the only 260 they sold then?

Yes. I have all the documentation, apart from the original bill of sale. I have the business card of Danny McCormack, if that means anything to you.

Any excuse to post my mis/re-badged car.

Personally I don't have an issue with down badging if it's either funny or believable.

Noting that despite the car being a rusting heap, a spirit level was still used to line the badges up. Nice touch.

I saw an E55 AMG the other day. Funny thing is though, it only had two exhausts and sounded like a tractor...scratchchin

I've got 530 badges on my car and a few bits of M-trim. (Not M5!!).

Anyone care to guess what the car is?
