ah leather i forgot, yes it was the only 260 ever sold from the showroom,we never had a demo to rich for the locals down here, funny thing was itook it out for a short test drive to make sure averything was ok, and i can remember stting my self as it was so much moneys worth at the time.
did you get the original book pack with sales cards in it?.
Yes. I have all the documentation, apart from the original bill of sale. I have the business card of Danny McCormack, if that means anything to you.did you get the original book pack with sales cards in it?.
My RS2 was debadged by its third owner, an undertaker. The car is black and saw occasional use as a limo at big funerals and he thought Porsche badges would be inappropriate.
In addition to being a bit cramped for a limo, the alloys, red calipers, Recaros and 180mph speedo were okay, apparently.

Ashok's old car.....
Sorry, just spoils it IMO.What you really want an M5 with the bodykit, badges and alloys all swapped over with a bottom of range 5er, and then leave people at the traffic lights wondering what the fk just happened. Thats my idea of fun :P

I had a Skoda Fabia vRS a few years back, and the styling on the vRS isn't a world apart from the standard car. Around the same time I got it remapped to 180bhp / 310lbs/ft, I fitted it with an SDI badge (60 bhp, rock on!) - gave a few tailgaiting 'tards a bit of a surprise (although choking on the soot cloud probably wasn't that much fun for them either...)
I personally feel that this badge changing is a bit silly. Having said that, a few years ago I was driving behind a Golf GTI with the letters re-arranged to Old Git.
I pulled up next to said car at the traffic lights, and sure enough, there was an old git driving it.
Haven't seen another GTI like it since.

I am also in favour of reverse badging, because of the same reasons others have said, i.e. when chavs pull up in their "blingin" 1 litre Nova they think they can take you "320D" which is really a CSL, and it's just funny to see the look on their faces just as you boot it.
That said, these "blingin" Nova's are slow by any standards, I have embarrassed a few with a 1.1 litre factory standard Seicento.

You could probably leave their Nova behind in a real 320D. As a Smart owner my personal beef is with Mercedes star badges on the ForTwo's. KOMPRESSED is funny though .That said, these "blingin" Nova's are slow by any standards, I have embarrassed a few with a 1.1 litre factory standard Seicento.
I did see a red Ford Ka once with Ferrari shield emblems on the front wings

There is a black smart running around Guildford with Smart Arse on the back in the correct font etc. Made me chuckle.Edited by ajprice on Tuesday 25th November 10:25
