Or are the F1 and exceptional SWB from someones private collection?
I assume a man with exquisite taste, what else does he have?
sorry just mopping up the drool.......
The SWB in particular was astonishing. It had literally just come back from a full restoration in Modena, and the quality of the craftsmanship was better than anything I've seen. An astonishing level of detail with the car looking just like new, but without that "over-finished" look that some of the Pebble Beach winners can sometimes have.
The 250SWB is my all time favourite vehicle - iconic shape, drop dead gorgeous lines, but an engine note which completely belies the elegance of its silhouette.
And actually, I've just realised that it wasn't Berkley square, but Belgrave Square.

Which car dealer is located in Berkeley Square? I only know of Jack Barclay's Bentley?
There is a Porsche dealer there as well I think...I'll have a look at the weekend, im interested to see what is in the showroom, everything is always very plush in that neck of the woods!!

The F430 is a slippery beast already but the clever boffins at Ferrari started with a third size model and extensively tested in the Maranello wind tunnel. A re-model of the front-end added downforce to the front, and a rear diffuser and rear lip spoiler balanced this out. Tweaks of the airflow throughout the car were made and air ducts appeared in the rear wheel arches to channel air to the rear bumper. The sills were lowered to maximise pressure for the under tray and diffuser. Even the exhausts were raised to allow better airflow across the body.
Have they retrospectively made these changes to the standard F430? In the unlikely event that I had a total taste failure and bought an F430, I'd be annoyed if Ferrari could make it better at minimal cost but didn't bother because such "tweaks" were reserved for the lightweight version.+1 for the 250 SWB pic
