Surely now the 250SWB pic of the week has been secured?
If so, take a pic of a dark blue one as raced by Ecurie Ecosse or a red one but the Alfa Romeo oxblood red doesn't do it justice IMHO.

£3500 for optional stripes.
Don't Caterham charge a few hundred quid for something similar? hehe I had them on my Caterham and compared with a 360 Stradale and the quality of paintwork looked no different to my untrained eye.
£3.5 k was for the vinyl CS stripe , the Scud stripe is painted and is nearer £5k !

The 430 Scuderia's sound has been designed in virtual simulators which look at the air intake, exhaust and sound proofing to create the unique Ferrari sound. The engineers used a direct descendant of the exhaust system from a F430 Challenge race car and introduced resounders into the air intake system to modulate and emphasize the engine's voice. "They should have just tried recording the Ferrari 250 GT SWB revving beside me and played it out of a large speaker".

Quality line! Cheered up my day at work!

What A brilliant piece. Top marks.

Not going to spoil the comments by getting in a debate with mister chipped 333d regarding his gtr comments.

Does anyone else think that is the worst factory paint job they have seen on a Ferrari? Fowl beyond words..not particularity the colour but those stripes look stink.

Are you getting a Scud Spider 16M? I don't really get their thinking with that one tbh - lightweight hardcore supercar, er, with a heavy folding roof. And carpets.

I'm not saying i dislike the car - the 430 Scuderia is a truly amazing peice of kit - that gearbox and engine is astounding, and will sound even better with no roof, but they shouldn't have called it a Scuderia.

A 430 Spider 16M would have sufficed, with the improved aerodynamics, engine, gearbox etc would still be just as awesome...

Incidentally, what are your views on the California tbops? I know you're a bit of a Ferrari fan, so its interesting to know your thoughts.

I've been taken around Fiorino in a pre-prod California, and its a seriously handy bit of kit...
