Might be a bit more conventional but i have always absolutely loved the flatnose 911 - a real rare treat when you do see them on the road:
Saw a gold one driving through Tunbridge Wells last week, looked sweet smile
To anthropomorphise that expression is just sheer contentment smile

Some great ones spotted at the Swiss PH Autobau meet

One of Rinspeed's finest

A Vector with other assorted Rinspeeds in the background

I forget what this was - there were lots of one-off Swiss cars

And one that I don't think was mentioned but is obviously unloved - there are 2 unregistered ones for sale in Switzerland

Alfa SZ Zagato

thats gotta be 7.2L, because 722ci is 11 litres or so (unless my maths is awful - im scaling up from a 350ci being 5.7l)

I've seen that one for sale before - there's something slightly odd about it having only done 400km, yet having had the stereo replaced with a non-standard one.

edit - Alfa RZ
How much? yikes I'm off to Switzerland to sell mine...

Lovely car (I want a 410) but Aston had aluminium bodies and disc brakes in the '50s. And they always made their own engine.

Your joking right?. Perhaps they might be well engineered but they do look like a dogs dinner. I see a Triumph 2500 cabin a set of wheels from Halfords and the body panels scribed by a 10 year old.
Sorry dont mean to offend but is it a sort of eccentric thing that draws people to Bristol cars.

One of my all-time favourite cars. The things I'd do for one of those are probably best not listed on a public forum smile (I'd find it VERY tough to choose between this or a Tuscan or a Cerbera in my dream driveway...)

Then again, there is no accounting for taste and there's no accounting for why I'd find a tarted up old Porsche so attractive..

Really, you think? You think it might just possibly be a streak of eccentricity than draws people to Bristol cars? In England?

You arent American or French are you?

No, proud to be English!. It's got to be eccentricity because that car is pig ugly, or as I said for people who appreciate function more than form.

Jaguar had disc brakes and ally bodies from the late Fifties (short lived XKSS) so that's nothing special!
