I do love those wing cars.I had a few 68/69 chargers and had the oportunity of buying melbournes yellow SB for £15k a few years back.
Id love a daytona.I researched building a race car clone out of my first car but it came to nothing.
I am now chargerless for the first time in 28 years.

Anyone remember the Spectre R45? Great looking car.
teacher I'll have to get my pedant hat on again....

They never made the Spectre R45 - It was a show queen and a runner was never built.

However....

The Spectre R42 was made, how many exist god only knows as the company lurched from one financial crisis to another.

Cracking looking car though. thumbup

It's for sale too if anyone is interested

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/770743.htm

£24995.
Classic & Sportscar did a feature on it recently

Yellow one was sold on here last year. Asking was around 30K

The other one was also for sale 'requiring completion' for a lot less.

Might be a bit more conventional but i have always absolutely loved the flatnose 911 - a real rare treat when you do see them on the road:
Saw a gold one driving through Tunbridge Wells last week, looked sweet smile
To anthropomorphise that expression is just sheer contentment smile
funny old world isn't it ... own and love classic old aircoolers but personally i just dont get the flat nose.

no counting for taste, especially mine!!!
One of my all-time favourite cars. The things I'd do for one of those are probably best not listed on a public forum smile (I'd find it VERY tough to choose between this or a Tuscan or a Cerbera in my dream driveway...)

Then again, there is no accounting for taste and there's no accounting for why I'd find a tarted up old Porsche so attractive..
I'm nearly certain i saw a somewhat mangled black one of these on a low loader in Belfast a couple of weeks ago, the vents on the front caught my eye and the big wing (surrounded by bent twisted metal).
