Top picture....What the arse has been done to that 928???
I have that book. 928 is a Strosek. Book is about 80s supercars.
And from that, I've always loved...
Even more nutty was what they did to the mk1 Golf- add a bit of hydraulics and a 911 Turbo engine, and this was the result:

Golf was also built with a 928 V8 and a Ferrari flat 12.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8LpnhTJGY0Artz also did the Vauxhall Cordett (Kadett stretched over a Corvette), 911-engined VWs and so on. Not really supercars though.
A thread worthy of resurrection. Some "interesting" cars in here
I saw this and I realised it's basically a scaled up, mid 80s remix of the Lancia Beta coupe

I always liked the Guara. I'm fairly sure there are one or two coupe owners on here.
The Zagato-styled Aston of the mid-late 80's has grown on me a lot over the years since it was in production too.
