while sprinters are nice, the new transits are absolutely fan fooking tastic,

loads of cubby space, perfect driving position, comfty seats, and the 2.4 model is rather nippy,

love them, backbone of britain, first van to drive like a car.

i remember hearing of an old transit van at goodwood once with xj220 running gear? although that was in the pub and probably a load of old bks.

I went out in Supervan III at Ford (courtesy of the PH comp). What a piece of kit, even though the DFV is long gone. Not really an Transit though, I think it's a 7/8ths replica with a full spaceframe.

So come on Paul, what'll the Christmas special be this year?

A train?
Eurofighter?
Sleigh?

Lots of fun to be had here!

Ah, the Chicken Chaser. I have many fond memories of using one of these as transport whilst at Le Mans a few years back drunk

may have trouble getting a C90 now - everyone is paying top dollar to use them for Africa charity rides

I like that suggestion LHD, I'd also like to 'review' a large Sunseeker yacht in in Miami, just for the feature mind you I wouldn't enjoy it at all......

When I was a young mechanic I had to paint one of those (an older version). Wire brush all the rust off, then primer, undercoat and a lovely fermented snot top coat (2 coats). 6 weeks of blisters. Fun driving it, thoughsmile
