Wow, that really is stunning!
So, has it completely lived up to how you imagined it would turn out in the flesh? Are there any aspects that have disappointed you?
If there are they must be of little significance as that is a seriously good looking car.
It all panned out really well and the client got what he wanted whilst saving some serious money and a lot of aggro. So, has it completely lived up to how you imagined it would turn out in the flesh? Are there any aspects that have disappointed you?

If I have a worry, it would be that this car turns out to be a one trick pony and anything else I due in the future will not be as good. I hope that is not the case, because I am designing a car for myself from July onwards. Will post some pictures when it starts being built as I know the forum is a little weary of CG concepts that stay at the concept stage.
Keep an eye out for the below in the Autumn. 1st out of production car to be recreated in its entirety in a 3D programme, being the Bugatti Type 35. All parts were finished last year, but getting the assembly detail completely correct, coupled with earning a crust has taken forever. Please note pictures done about 3 months ago. Construction has moved on a lot since then.
Going back to the car that is subject of this thread, it should be racing at Donnington in May, but I believe there is now some doubt about the meeting taking place.
Enjoy!

What theme are you hoping to use for your own car - retro/classic/modern/futuristic etc?I really can only wish you the best of luck, your designs are superb and the finished product looks fantastic.

The car will be modern in design with some novel concepts.
Essentially, companies like Aston Martin and Bugatti deserve credit for keeping marques alive that otherwise would have died. However, I have a real problem that in essence they are just a marketing exercises with no true link to the old vehicles.
The Bugatti Type 35 was a car that won races and could equally cope with being driven on a day to day basis.
I want to create a modern day version of the Type 35 concept and have direct links back to the Type 35, in that parts from the new car could be taken off and used on the old vehicle and visa versa. For example the accelerator pedal that is truly beautiful and the Jaeger clock.
So there you go. Pipe dream number 1!
