Just to clear another point up: a blazer or moustache is not essential. Wearing a tie is preferrable, however
Lord Brett Sinclair would beg to differ, old man.It's all about style.
He's a 6 cylinder driver. Us V8 drivers wear ties. And have hairy chests. And dont bother with piddling little italian red types...

Forget the x pack.
What you NEED is an RSW 7 litre conversion...

Awesome awesome cars!
Some quick points as I'm about to eat:
- The Vantage cross spokes were made by Ronal not BBS as suggested in the article;
- Check out the hand brake - how cool is that?
- Check out the silver CD player - how uncool is that? Needs a period wireless;
- When making Vantages for Prince of Wales (rather than POW spec) Aston included a glass jar that was recessed into the centre arm rest, which had a lid that was covered in the same leather of the car for keeping sugar cubes in for his polo ponies. It had "HRH" embossed on the lid. Fantastic stuff, and sums up the "old" Aston Martin to me; and
- I was fortunate enough to visit Newport Pagnell a few years ago. Such a great sense of Britishness seeing the guts in brown overalls creating such beautiful cars in run down sheds.

Can't really add any more superlatives to those already here
My first memory of one was when I was eleven, visiting Robin Hamilton's Aston Martin dealership and being taken for a ride in a Vantage.
At the time Robin was developing the first version of his V8 Le Mans car - now that is the one I'd buy
