Stunning cars.

I went to to the Newport Pagnell site and had a tour around the factory in '83, I was only a youth but seeing the production line and being invited to press a few buttons on a Lagonda dash (probably the last time they worked!) along with being given half a ton of posters left a lasting impression. I think I still have some of it somewhere.

For the 21st Anniversary of the V8, an Aston collector commissioned nine consecutively numbered V8 Astons - all the same colour. Top man.

The collection was broken up at the Bonham's Aston Martin auction in 2005.

I cant believe I used to like them - looks like a big Mk4 Cortina now.

couple of my mates had them in the '80s (amazing as we were all just 'working class' lads - just shows how much better off 'ordinary people' were then)

So ****ing unreliable, made British Leyland cars look good

I sometimes have a nightmare that I have bought a Range Rover, so nice to wake up.

Hope this isnt going to replace that bad dream !!!

No, I think with a car like that you should have it as your Sunday car and enjoy the whole car cossetting experience. If that means a roadside fettle between home and pub then so be it.

I saw one yesterday as it happens, not broken down but being driven considerately in traffic and looking the absolute bolleaux du chien.

THE PEDDLES MOUNTED ON THE FLOOR.
Don't know about your ankles but the way mine pivot the floor is where the peddles should pivot.
