Porsche a luxury brand making sports cars became the most profitable car company in the world. They have now moved into the mass market and the commercial sector.
Not sure I'd be happy with this strategy if I was a shareholder.
Porsche realised that they were too small to afford the R&D clout to meet upcoming legislative and technological challenges. The economies of scale of possible with the VW group, and their sports car division could be promising. Admittedly their group overall profit margins, may decrease as they move from high margin products, to more mass market cars, this should be compensated by a sizeable increase in sales volume however. Not sure I'd be happy with this strategy if I was a shareholder.

Porsche need a 10 Billion Euro loan? Didn't they just make £18bn curtesy of the Hedge funds?
Scania GT3 RS. No faster way of getting your goods from the warehouse to the shops.
Untill that is they release a Scania GT2 RS.
Not really sure a stripped out lorry with a roll cage in place of the load would be all that practical though.Scania GT3 RS. No faster way of getting your goods from the warehouse to the shops.

Having said that a lorry that could do the ring in sub 8 mins would be pretty cool.

The fantastic 16litre v8 620 bhp scania engine mid mounted in a cayanne aka cayman give that lump to the weissach boys and then get it pumping out circa 2500 bhp go to le mans bingo just knock every car off the track up yours club de l ouest or whatever name they are!
Or just go round nurburring your way enough times and you would make your own easy oval circuit up yrs nissan
buy enough trucks and you get a new cayman that sorts prod out at porsche
Scania need a new cab soon so porsche could graft a 911 nose on to the front for the forward control (one with a bonnet!) model they managed with the cayenne so they can do it with a truck cab
would they rename it Porscan or Scapors?
we could have an 8x4 porsche 911 tipper or up yours aston martin options are endless
Bring it on
