Just a follow up, Mini all insured with Flux, painless process, had to get them to remove all the add-on's twice and the guy on the phone couldn't understand the concept of me having personal breakdown cover and not needing it again but other than that, very pleased.
Thanks for the feedback, MiniBeej. Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ash

I didn't see this thread before and got a quote earlier today, will I literally get 15% discount on that quote?

If so that's a good price! smile

Hi Pingman,

Sounds good. DM me if you'd like me to get the exact discount for you. Depends on the underwriters and minimum premium brackets sadly, but you'll certainly be entitled to up to 15% discount, if you aren't receiving any Owners Club discount already!

Let me know :-)

Thanks,

Ash

Very disappointed with my renewal quote from Flux today, last year it was just under £600, this year, same company , no changes, accidents or convictions, it came out at over £1000.

44 years old, clean licence no accidents on an 07 WRX which is kept locked in a Carport at my home in Ipswich.

Best that Flux could do me was more expensive than last year with Midas.

Not even close to being competitive, looks like we'll be going elsewhere this year.

Hi Texaxile,

That is very disappointing to hear. Could you ping over your reference via DM, so I can look at the file for you?

Thanks,

Ash

I have 3 cars insured with AF.
I'm not hugely enthused that my renewal quote has increased despite me reducing milage etc and never having made a claim.
I wish to add a 4th car, so it may be time to shop around.

I don't have any PH or owners club discounts applied, perhaps you can assist if I DM you the details?

Thanks

Hi Panda P,

If you received any discount for an Owners Club, then you won't be eligible. However, if you haven't, then I should be able to adjust for you. DM me with your reference or surname and postcode and I'll have a look.

Thanks,

Ash

Hi Guys,

I will be purchasing a MK5 GTI in the next month. The car is pretty much standard other then the wheels which have been painted black. I passed my test when I was 17 and have been driving pretty much since then (mainly as a named driver). I will be 24 and will have 1 years ncb by the time I complete the purchase and was wondering whether anybody here could offer me help with my insurance?

I have 3 points for a TS10 conviction back in December 2011.

I've been getting quotes in the region of £1600.

Thanks guys,

Faz

Another one here. I have only just signed up but seeing this thread reminded me that the lady on the phone had asked if I was a forum member, to which I said no as I wasn't. My policy started 5wks ago; would I be eligible for a discount still?
