I have looked at the file and can confirm that I have seen the e-mail and bill so that is now fine on the file in question. As far as I know we have everything we need for that particular policy.
Thanks
Ash

Despite the fuss caused over the username password issue, Flux have now twice threatened to cancel the policy.
Decided to beat them to it, cancelled it and put the car on a storage policy.
It's the last time I'll ever insure with them.

Sounds like your having the same issue! I've now had two letters saying I've sent everything I need to, sending the same info every few weeks!! And I've had two warnings of cancellation!! So yesterday had an email saying everything was sorted and didn't have to send anymore then no joke, 20 mins later the same girl sends me an email asking again for confirmation of my address!!Despite the fuss caused over the username password issue, Flux have now twice threatened to cancel the policy.

Flux is such a fuking joke!!! No one should ever use them as they have seriously lost the plot! A few years ago couldnt fault but now bloody useless and I'm going to lodge a formal complaint and take flux to court for wasting my fking time!!!!!!!
Useless tts!!!
A few years ago Flux were the most competitive and offerred the best service for my weekend toys. But in the last 3 years or so they havent been able to get close to the best quote.
Eg this year a quote for Renault Alpine GTA - Flux £780, Heritage £145 both with the same underwriter!
Not sure whats going wrong.

I gave up with Flux 2 years ago. Before that i'd used them for nearly all my previous modified cars since i was 17.
What changed for me was 2 years ago when they sent me a renewal through on my Focus RS at over £1300 fully comp when the previous year it had been just under £700. Bear in mind i had no claims, etc, during that time and licence is clean, etc. Asked why they'd quoted that much for renewal and was told it was due to rise in personal injury claims, uninsured drivers, etc. I'm sure that could be the case, but not at £600+
Needless to say that renewal was laughed at & i went elsewhere (Need 2 Insure) who covered it for just over £500 that year and again for a similar price this year with no stupid hiked up renewal quotes. Also worth noting that the level of cover was far higher through N2I compared to Flux and all my modifications are properly declared, unlike Flux who "lost" my modification list and decided to insure my FRS for at least 2 years that i had it with them as only having an exhaust & filter fitted
Only found this out after requesting they send me a copy of my, then, current modification list as i wanted to check they had the correct info on mods for my car, and they couldn't do it. What's worse is i'd given them a comprehensive 3 page list of all the mods, which for some reason one of their staff must have abbreviated down to "exhaust & filter". So effectively i guess this meant every time i drove my car during that time i was uninsured in the eyes of the law, due to their cock up

Sorry you have been having issues. As always I would like to help and find out what the problem is so it can be sorted, so hopefully the same issue does not crop up in the future. I can't comment on why you have been having these problems until I see your file. If you do get a spare moment feel free to PM me your surname and postcode and I can look into it for you.
Sorry again.
Thanks
Ash

Sorry we were not competitive for you. I can't really answer why there is such a difference without seeing your quotes. If you would like me to have a look at a quote for you next time around feel free to PM me so details.
Thanks

Sorry to you as well. As you have previously mentioned insurers are being constantly put under pressure by increasing claim costs and PI claims. Also as you may have seen on the news etc there are a lot of people making false claims which unfortunately has an effect on peoples premiums. We are constantly working with different insurers so we have as many markets as possible for every type of person on every type of car. The insurance industry changes a lot from year to year so as we many have not been competitive for you on your car at the moment, we may be in a much better position next time around. If you would like me have a look at a quote for you when your renewal is up feel free to PM me your details.
As for the issue with the mods I'm not sure how only a couple of mods would appear on the system/paperwork. When we first set up a policy we have vast list of mods that we can use to select the mods on your car. We will then send a mods declaration form where you can then go in to more details about each modification on your car. I can only assume there was an admin error somewhere down the line for which I apologise again.
Thanks
Ash

Its a shame, because a few years ago when you were competitively priced I felt that I got good service with agreed valuations etc
I too have received a request for documents I have already sent. The worrying thing is it says to ignore the email if I have sent them, but if they aren't sent my policy will be cancelled.
I sent them on the 15th August, but I'm pretty sure if I ignore the email and don't resend them my policy will be cancelled. Or are these request sent out to everyone? Either way it isn't ideal.

If you want to pm me your details I will double check that we have your details. It may have just been something like we sent the letter reminding you that we needed your documents one morning then actually received them from you later on or the next day.
Thanks
