Performance is now very close to a 13 year old M3EVO which is should be taken as a complement. Just add 2 more seats, some boot space, then remove 75Kg and they might just have something.

I like it.

Roadroar was always a big issue (especially on Bridgestones) in the old 350Z, so nothing new there (mind you the Cayman is almost as bad). Wonder what it's like in the boot though - article says smaller than the 350Z which doesn't bode too well if there's still a brace in there.

There's no strut brace in the boot any more, but it is smaller than the 350Z's. You can see that in the video we made when we got to crawl around it in November --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQwJox4Gbk4
Nice one thanks for that. Yep looks like there's more usable space now. Mind you, I remember getting a surprising amount of kit in with holdalls etc

I think it was Edmunds that recorded 0-60 mph in 4.9 secs. I've got the pdf on my desktop, but cant confirm the source. It may have been Road and Track or Car and Driver.

Definitely a quick car.

Looks ok but think the interior is a little on the cheap and nasty side

It needs more shove before I'd put up with it.

I like it. Looks a lot better than most other offerings for the same price IMHO. I would if I had the paper to do so.

I really want one. In blue. My favourite car. 27k is very good value.

I have had a good shufti round a couple in dealers and am very impressed - the body is a good move forwards from the 350Z and it looks far less flabby. It has far better proportions. I was less impressed with the interior as I don't think they have moved the game on that far inside.

i like it, looks good and has more power.

Although from my experience in the 350, the 0-60 times are underestimated by Nissan

Is that with or without adding all the extra equipment and toys the Nissan has to the 944 or M3 Evo?
wink

I really like the design. Some photos don't really flatter it so here are some to whet your appetite smile

I think it's a great looking car and I hope to own one in 2010 smile

Dont be stupid. You think tech hasnt moved on in 13 years. I bet this would be a good bit faster round a track than a standard M3 evo.

Straight line would be similar though

I wonder why they don't charge more than 27k for it, one would have to spend 44k for it's rival the cayman s
As with the GTR this is an absolute bargain

Added to the fact that the 370 has to cater for far stricter safety legislation, each of which adds weight, and therefore dulls delivery...
I wonder what extra weight a 944 would have to carry these days with safety cells and the like... hardly comparable..

Because the interior of the cayman has more than 50 pence spent on it.

That interior really lets the car down.
