I've done my own research & worked out that it's A 2 owner vehicle, but apart from that, can anyone shed any light on 'NA52LLU'.
That's strange....That advert never had any mention of service history a couple of weeks back. And when I called yesterday, he said there wasn't any.

Perhaps they've accidently listed it incorrectly smile

WHen I first read the OP, I thought that it was worth a punt on the basis that anyone who spends that amount on a car will surely have it serviced.

THen I googled Keighley Trade Centre and I would absolutely never buy a car from them under any circumstances.
I would consider it higher risk than a private sale. By a margin.

Nice post, Mikey. That horrible list would make a nice epitaph for Mercedes, the malaise years.
Wouldn't have enjoyed being the technician at the receiving end of some rich bloke's justifiable anger at his useless air conditioning. Was 2003 a hot summer?

Is this not criminal behavior by the dealer? How can they still be in practice with such evidence all over the net?

Yes, but it is common knowledge that some businesses are much more likely to escape an inspection than others, and let's say this is a prime example. Don't want to upset the PC applecart, do we?

People will always be tempted by what looks like a good deal, and ignore any hints suggesting they may be having their pants pulled down. Fools and their money are soon parted, and the world is full of fools.

BSR, I think that comment does need a bit of an explanation.

That's how i took that statement to be honest. What did you mean by it if not BSR's interpretation?

It's about time websites like this started listing known problem dealers. People will end up getting ripped off simply because those in a position to issue warnings just turn a blind eye. Shame. I expect another padlock will bury the truth again.

Interesting. What I meant was that it is PC to favour the small business ('Free Enterprise' and all that), and it not looking good to be seen to hammer a publically-visible sales business, despite what sounds like some distinctly iffy business goings-on. Besides the fact that Trading Standards strikes me as being like to many other public-sector 'services' these days; about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

However, am I to read into BSR's comment that it is black- or asian-owned? If so, this gets quite interesting. Interesting in that a comment about dodgy business practices is interpreted as being racist, even though it was nothing of the sort.

Funny how the 'racist' card can so easily backfire, eh? What say you, BSR? ears
