I feel for the people that go to these big places with lots of cars and a flashy website and get their pants royally pulled down.
It's not too difficult to do a little bit of research though. I'm constantly surprised by the way some people will part with big sums of money without finding anything out about the seller or the car they are buying.

Very wise words, thank you Robbie. Let's let the whole thing drop - I'm significantly beyond being sick of it.
Indeed If you wish I can remove the lot from the thread.Oli.
TO me, your statement could not possibly have meant anything other than the owners get away with being vriminals because they are of an ethnic minority.
YOu tried to deflect this by claiming that by "politicaly correct" you were refering to the politically correctness of not challenging small businesses as opposed to ethnic minorities.
I don't believe that at all.
Never in history have small businesses been the subject of 'political correctness'. PC'ness bears no relevance to business size.
Even if it did, it has been established on this thread that Keighley has a stock of 70 cars or so at anyone time which makes them a large dealer in my eyes. In fact a massive dealer.
NOt a witch-hunt. It is just how I see your comments. Muttering "small business" will not change my view of your comments Im afraid although I am open to some further convincing.

Im not moaning.
I am totaly neutral, calm and unaffected.
If you want to defend him then go for it, but Im afraid you'll find you are wasting your time if you think you can stop me from pulling people up for comments like he made.
FWIW I don't even think his comments are racist as others have implied. Just silly. They are not anti-ethnic comments but anti-PC comments.
THe reason I felt the need to comment were that they were indicative of the knee jerk "I hate Britain" comments that are so tedious on this site without any basis.

Why do you feel the need to pull him up on it? I am totaly neutral, calm and unaffected.

Some people are racist. Some people are aren't.
Whether he meant it or not makes no odds to you at all does it?

Ridiculous statement. Logic so twisted that there is no actual answer to it.Some people are racist. Some people are aren't.
Whether he meant it or not makes no odds to you at all does it?
I may as well say "because I have a lilac bush in my garden" as it is equal in surreality to your post.
I thought we were debating the less than virtuous KTC - leave it out with the R bombs, it's boring.
Purely from reading the internet a lot I have an instinctual reaction when anyone mentions this place, i.e. do not bother. This was backed up last year when I rang up about a Scooby and was most unimpressed with the conversation, the guy was a tool.
