i love the cs too - the problem is that it's too noisy for every track day except for the odd day at knockhill, silverstone and donington

that new gt3 does look nice. hopefully it doesn't understeer as much as the last one!

Probably those god awful splitters with the vents in that Porsche put on the race cars as standard. Usually get taped over and used for testing

You would not believe how much difference that splitter makes, especially when you've knocked one off.

Incidentally, I thought the splitters were unusually cheap for a Porsche part.

simple economics - they sell so many they can afford to sell them at a sensible price.

"There are the now essential LED driving lights"

Oh dear. Such a shame. And I really like the rest of the car, but I can't be doing with essential LED driving lights.

So for that reason Porsche, I shall not be parting with my hard-earned this time.
For now, I'll stick with my bargain barge and a creaky leaky MX5 thank you.

On a serious note though, the GT3 is at the top of my when-I've-got-a-few-quid-to-blow-on-a-keep-for-ever-car list.

There's an option in the menus to turn them off.

429bhp from an NA 6 cylinder 3.8 litre?

Incredible.
Well yes it's pretty good but Ferrari had 108 bhp per litre back in 1994 from a 3.5l V8, this is producing 5 hp more per litre. Not huge progress. F430 Scud is doing 118 bhp per litre. Certainly at this price point I doubt you can match this NA masterpiece. Fantastic device, and yes I want one too!!

And Honda have been getting 120bhp per litre out of the S2000. Is it easier to get the higher specific output from a smaller engine (less reciprocating mass?).

But when silver goes out of fashion (it's on it's way) just imagine how many cars will look st.

White will never go out of fashion on a GT3. It's an iconic colour.

I agree. I don't think it'll ever look less than stunning on a car such as the GT3. There was a white 997 GT2 with black wheels parked behind us at Oulton Park on Easter weekend for the GT racing and it was just incredible to behold.

Will Porsche be doing a facelifted GT3 RS, or just the GT3?
