I've just seen one of these and have been thinking about it all day...

Saw one of these in white on the M40 last weekend with a German plate, right hand drive, with twin exhaust and a ring sticker on the back. Did a nice dump valve psssstttt when changing down and pulling away at roundabout.

Im sure he has done some nice tweaks to the engine as they do not come with a Turbie !!!!!!

Was very nice and moved very quick

There is a bar in Nottingham called Templars, and when I used to go there was a part of it with one of these parked in the corner, inside. Reputedly the actual car used in the series but I don't know how true that is.

I have mostly been obsessing about my next car. The ones on my mind at the moment are:

Honda Prelude of either the 4th or 5th generation but must be a UK-market car with the V-tec engine and manual transmission.

I'm also obsessing about Jaguar XJ40s or early X300s for about £1,000-1500 as I could see myself behind the wheel of one.

I've driven Preludes and I know I'd like one but I can't imagine looking out of my window and admiring it in the way that I'd enjoy admiring the Jaguar. What worries me is that XJ40 electronics would mean that I'd spend a lot of time admiring a static Jag when I wanted to be driving. On the other hand it has to be more dependable than the 19-year-old Citroen BX I've got now.

Merc SL55 AMG

Drove Badapple's at VMAX the weekend before last and it breezed to 183 mph. And it sounds like a Mechersmidt.

So much performance for the money but I cant justify one for my 5 mile commute every day
