This since I found a good one near me within my meagre budget. Very tempted, anyone know what they are like reliability wise, is parts availability likely to be an issue in the near future with Saabs recent troubles?

One of these, as I've just bought one. For those that know, it needs no explanation evil

One of these: I have a desire for some low cost comfy cruising in my life.

For the past few weeks my head has been an odd blend of these 3.

Luxury or fun??

ETA: A post above reminded me I've also been musing about 924s and 944s, thing is it'll probably all change again tomorrow.

New shape 1-Series today, saw one in a lovely blue today.

I think it looks great on the road!
Didn't know they were out yet.. must keep an eye out for them. scratchchin
Jesus, whoever designed the front of that needs to be shot! yuck
It'll be a grower.

No-one liked the e60 when it came out and it still looks new.
To be fair, that picture doesn't do it any justice, i'll wait til' I see one in the flesh
Some of us still haven't warmed to the E60. The last generation of BMW's that was pleasing to the eye was the E39, and E46 IMO, they haven't done a nice looking car since. Although the new 6 series looks like a step in the right direction.

My sensible choice for my next car. Fast, comfortable, solidly built, reliable and practical. I know some people are still badge snobs but I think these look great in the flesh.

Strange one for me..but...

One of those up the road from where I work. Sometimes go out of my way on my way home just for a look. God help me if it ever has a for sale sign on it. :-)

If I had the money I'd happily buy both of these:

Lego Unimog: Just to plug the (substantial) gap until I can afford the real thing frown

S60 D5 for the comfy, fast, fuel efficient crusing I like to do
