I couldn't own a convertible M3.
Why ??
Well I couldn't afford it for one. Secondly, I find them horrible.
The proportions look all wrong on every 3 series convertible to date IMO. Bet the M3's sound nice with the roof down though.

The new Boxster, standard spec base model. Just think it looks great (at last) and is the quintessential modern Sportscar. I have been on the Porsche configurator and am very close to breaking my main car rule and buying new! I think it looks sensational value and I don't want all the extras/luxuries/gizmos as it will be run as a second car. What colour to go for?!

I see what you mean, but for some reason I really like it in yellow. Also, you can hear the engine much better.

My my that's starting to look dated. Plaque is very tacky and a bit rubbish because they had to explain they only got the constructor's and not the driver's championship!

123d.

I have my reasons. There's no way I could sell the 172 Cup, but having driven a 3 series and C class around for a few days last week I've got a little bit of a hankering for something comfier, quieter and less shouty for travelling to see family/friends.

Admittedly they're still a lot of money, so I may need to re-evalute as I am literally just wanting comfort, performance can take a back seat (ish).

Cheaper to fuel, insure and tax than my 172 - and pretty much the same 0-60 time. Crazy.

To be honest, a 118d coupe would do fine.

I can't think of a finer way of turning money into noise.
I've been looking at that for a few weeks now. Is amazing IMHO, wish I had the cash for it
