No, but there is no distinction between breeding them to eat and breeding them to sit on. They get killed either way.
Actually, as it happens, at the high end of the market, cows are specifically bred for their hide. IIRC the Bentley hides come from a certain breed in one of the Scandinavian countries, raised in a snag free environment (no barbed wire fences etc) to ensure a blemish free skin.
Apparently, the man from Fray Bentos was quoted as saying that the only bit of los cow that isn't used is the 'mooooo'
Now perhaps Bentley should have the horn to sound in keeping with the interior?
