I'd give a nod to the following as well;
Mercedes CLK GTR
Nissan R390
Toyota GT-one
P.S.: Am I being stupid, or shouldn't the title of the thread be 'Coolest Homologated' instead of 'Non-homologated'?
I think the OP is looking for racing cars that have been turned into road going cars. Not road going versions of the racers built by the factories for homologanastion purposes.
And so the Dauer is a no-no as it was built so that Dauer (porsche) could race it under GT1 rules in Lemans 1994. However the TVR is a yes as it was built by some maniac that thought "yeh, its tough to control on a track, lets try it on the roads......."
However the 962 is stunning...

Were the Daur 962's not built from original race cars? IIRC I pretty sure they were.
The 1994 Race winning car was only entered due to a loop hole in the regulations as there had been road cars produced they could enter it in GT1 rather than as a prototype. Which I believe allowed bigger restrictors and fuel tank enabling the 962 to remain competitive!

Thanks, happy you like it, although it isnt a Dauer, its an american Fabcar genuine 962 (Ch no 0009) manufactured on behalf of Porsche (& with full factory approval) by Hurley Haywood (ex Le Mans winner in a 956/962),And so the Dauer is a no-no as it was built so that Dauer (porsche) could race it under GT1 rules in Lemans 1994.
