Might be handy to know if you're in the market for some well priced car stuff.

Lidl and Aldi are underrated imo. Bought plenty of bike stuff and other bits and bobs that have far outlasted more expensive and supposedly top quality gear.
Don't just generalize since they're seen as cheap shops. They do the job well and they last. Well worth the money.
Depends what it is, I bought a cheap VDE plier set from Lidl as someone I know recommended them but actually I think they were made from chocolate sprayed silver.Don't just generalize since they're seen as cheap shops. They do the job well and they last. Well worth the money.
Some stuff is good (electronic calipers for £9 for example) but some is sh*te, just be aware.

For the people slagging Lidl as cheap tat, their digital vernier caliper is actually a Snap On (Blue Point) model with a different brand. I can't vouch for anything else but their bike gear is top quality and trumps much cheaper brands, the same goes for their gardening tools and the like.
