Really weird reply to a email about a van for sale?
Discussion
My wife has just been telling me about a customer who got upset with her at work today (she works in a Bank). He has banked a cheque for £25K - he was selling his car for £18K and is a little upset that this cheque has now been returned
He asked for the bank to investigate and did not like the reply. He showed her the email from the buyer - she struggled not to laugh when she told him we got the same email from the same person a couple of weeks ago when we were selling our car. We had a little 'fun' with our replies to the emailer

How about this one for buying a car on Autotrader??
Miles cheaper than anything similar, private seller unable to receive phone calls - e-mail only, then lists a phone number with an 0872 prefix - google the complete number and it comes back on a phone spam filter website listing it as costing 10ppm (don't know if that is pounds or pence). Either way, I'll steer clear.
Far too many scamsters out there after your money!!

If anyone thinks that this is anything but a scam ,they must be a spacktard of the very highest order! Even the wording of the ad does not scan right.
One only has to spend some time on PH classifieds to this sort of thing pretty often .
On Autotrader the other day was an 03 plate Clio V6 for £5995 or something .I couldn't be bothered to even phone and check to see if it was a mistake or scam.

If anyone needs advice on fraud, it's worth taking a look here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/warnings.asp
These can be found in the classified section if you ever need them again.
