A nice Shelby GT500, cool classy pony car, real racing pedigree.

Pure chav bodykit. The whole thing looks cheap and chav. No suprise from a bodykitted car from a disney film.

One of my favourite cars, and I think a very good looking car.

Way to improve a nice car frown

Most Supras are being ruined by bodykits and bad painting and bad fitting. There are some nice ones granted but they are in the minority. It looks better left alone unless you are going to do it properly.

Same goes with RX-7s, most kits make them look much worse than how they left the factory but there are some nice ones.

This whole thread reminds me of a program called chopshop, on discovery i think, there was some indian fella who thought he was a design messiah and used to do similar 'mods' (i use that term loosly) to cars like xjs's, loads of filler and metal that was more flimsy that a tin can. truely awful.

Woah there!

There was a thread about this car, it was a bespoke spaceframe with a BMW V12 and a pretty accurate Macca' F1 style bodyshell and was a very good effort.

I think you're confusing this with the godawful Rover based Macca' copy that turned up on ebay a while back.

Yeah Ive read quite a bit about this car, hes a polish fella who has spent quite some time constructing this car and when its finished (probably already is cause I saw these pics a few years back) I think you will be hard pressed to tell the difference parked next to a real one and the performace should be fantastic to match.

Only prob was that he has constructed it without ever seeing an F1, he has the measurements from the internet and tons of photos. Quite an achievement imo.

yes same here.

For some reason, i'm under the understanding that the bodykit was available long before Gone in Sixty Seconds came about.

Want!
