I've heard that there not real diamonds (or whatever they have used) on that car, but just a mixture of plastic and glass ones.

Considering the reflection, I'd say a combination of crystals and glass.

Glass/plastic doesn't have that kind of prisma effect.

A good place to buy Vinyl wrap is Spandex.com, they supply all the top brands like avery, 3M etc.....
